    (First annual event sponsored by Paradise Community Wellness Connection,
    Paradise Unified School District SHINE, and Feather River Health Center).
    * At the Feather River Health Center, 5125 Skyway, Paradise.

    May 16, 2010

  • Feather River Hospital's Safety and Health Expo;
    * At Seventh Day Adventist Academy; Paradise -
    typically in September or early October.

    Thursday, April 23, 2009 An event to educate our legislators about our medicine!
    I helped volunteer and we treated 150 people on the State Lawn that day!!
    (and this is now the official Yearly 'California State Acupuncture Awarness Day'also!!!!!)

    This same article was published in the Paradise Post on January 27, 2009, but without as much editing, but still written for the layperson. I have this available as a brochure in the office too (called 'Safely Combining Herbal Remedies with Pharmaceutical Drugs'), written with technical, medical language that wasn't appropriate for a newspaper article. I will eventually post it here also!

    The latest article was published in March 2010 about a lecture I gave at one of the local gyms, Beyond Fitness, on the 'Top 10 Superfoods for Longevity'. I will have my written article plus recipes available on this site soon (call or email if you want it before then).

    There also have been several articles in the past few years about Heavenly Herbs and Acupuncture in the local newspaper, the Paradise Post. (Details to follow.)
  • Community comes together in aftermath of fire

  • I am a founding Director of Paradise Community Wellness Connection (formed in 2009), and am currently serving as the Treasurer. We have obtained non-profit status, and have had several membership meetings and sponsored a health festival in May 2010, called Family Wellness Days. We have also distributed two printings of a Resource Guides, a listing of CAM professionals in the local area!!!
